In these times of uncertainty, we want to share with you that we at Kama'aina Handyman will remain open and operating for the foreseeable future. In the course of just a few days, lives in Hawaii, and all over the world, have changed. A “new normal” is taking shape as you read this, but one thing that remains is our commitment to provide quality work and excellent service to the island.
This evolving "new normal" gives us all time to become more comfortable with online services, practice social distancing and strong sanitization measures. Your health, safety, and well-being, as well as that of our team, is our highest priority. We have therefore put in place extra measures to maintain the quality, safety, and efficiency of our services. As we adapt to these changing times, we’d like to share some of our changes with you.
Effective immediately, we will no longer be doing in-home consultations for jobs that can be estimated over the phone, by email, or via our website chat window. These types of jobs are normally smaller jobs with which we have extensive experience; garbage disposal replacements, outlet replacements, ceiling fan replacements, leaking faucet repairs and replacements, toilet issues, etc.
That being said, we will still continue to offer free in-home consultations if requested. So if a home visit is still desired, don't worry because we will accommodate!
We will also be practicing #SocialDistancing, remaining a minimum of 6 feet from people. This simple measure will not affect our performance nor our services, and it will help immensely in our effort to remain cautious and conscientious.
It is important to us as a company that we continue to offer our services to the community during, and long after this time. Many hands make light work, so if you have projects you would like accomplished, or have essential home repairs that must be taken care of, we are here to help.
